ROSEMONT, Ill.---The Chicago Wolves held a 2-1 lead over the Milwaukee Admirals after 40 minutes of play for the second time in less than 24 hours. For the second straight game, the Admirals skated away with the Amtrak Rivalry victory, this time a 3-2 shootout decision Saturday night before 13,510 at the Allstate Arena.
The Chicago Wolves will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by wearing commemorative jerseys, presented by Jewel-Osco, to raise money for Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago and Chicago Wolves Charities.
Beginning with tonight’s contest at Texas, the Wolves will play four games in six days for the first time this season; Chicago will play just its second three-in-three set this weekend when it travels to Milwaukee on Friday before hosting the Admirals on Saturday and Rockford on Sunday.
To get fans revved up for this weekend's Amtrak Rivalry games between the Chicago Wolves and Milwaukee Admirals, Skates will ride Amtrak's Hiawatha Service train on Wednesday making friends and handing out tickets.
