SPLITSVILLE

The Wolves split a pair of games last week, losing at home to Grand Rapids on Friday but beating Rockford on the road Saturday; Chicago, which has not won back-to-back games since Oct. 17 and 19, shares third place in the Midwest Division with 23 points through 22 games this year (10-9-2-1).

WOLVES HEADLINES

Shares third on the team with 7 assists and has collected 8 points in 17 games this season ... Amassed 5 points (G, 4A) in his last four outings

--- Andrew Ebbett: Netted a power-play marker on Saturday, his first goal since Nov. 2 ... Shares first on the Wolves with 8 helpers and ranks fourth with 11 points in 20 games this season ... WOLF TRACKS

--- Chicago has surrendered one goal in each of its last two wins, which have come in its last three contests; the Wolves are a perfect 4-0-0-0 when they surrender one or fewer goals to their opposition.

--- The Wolves will battle out-of-division opponents in their next three games, beginning with Hamilton’s only visit to Allstate Arena on Thursday; the team just wrapped a 11-game stretch in which it faced only Midwest Division foes and went 3-6-1-1.

--- Chicago is one of just two AHL clubs that have yet to allow a short-handed strike this season; the team has bagged two shorties this season, but none since Oct. 27.

--- The Wolves were perfect on the penalty kill Saturday for the ninth time this season; the team, which has been shorthanded just 87 times this season, ranks 30th in the AHL with a 78.2 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (68 of 87).

--- Chicago has earned 22 power-play opportunities in its last three games against Rockford, which included scoring a goal on eight chances Saturday; the Wolves have converted nine of 90 power-play opportunities (10.0%) in 22 games this season.

GIRL TALK

--- The Wolves host their sixth “Hockey For Her” fundraising event at the Triphahn Community Center and Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Members of the Wolves will provide women an introductory glance at the sport of hockey by giving them the chance to go behind the scenes of a professional team.
