Ebbett and Schroeder Swap Spots

The Vancouver Canucks have recalled center Andrew Ebbett from the Chicago Wolves and reassigned center Jordan Schroeder to the Wolves.

SCHROEDER made his National Hockey League debut in 22 games with the Canucks this year after he joined the team when the NHL lockout concluded. He posted 5 points (2G, 3A), which included his first two NHL markers on Feb. 9 against Calgary.

The 22-year-old center also has registered 9 goals, 10 assists, and 19 points in 30 tilts with the Wolves this season.

EBBETT had his career-high 10-game point streak snapped in the Wolves 3-2 win over Rockford on Sunday. He amassed 6 goals, 10 assists, and 16 points during that span, which dated back to Dec. 30 due to NHL recall. He ranks third on Chicago with 21 assists and second with 32 points in 37 AHL games this year.

The 30-year-old forward also has skated in five games with the Canucks this season.

The Wolves travel to Michigan for a showdown against the Midwest Division-leading Grand Rapids Griffins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13. For more information, or to buy tickets to Wolves home games, visit chicagowolves.com or call 1-800-THE-WOLVES.
